Skate Fit Profile
For the GSX skate, Bauer stuck with the traditional D and EE fit profiles. These skates will fit like a mashup of the Vapor and Supreme skates of years past so the easiest way to find your correct size is to come give them a try.
Boot Construction/Stiffness/Level of Play
The GSX uses a Fiber Composite quarter which is much softer and more forgiving than that of the Elite and Pro skates. StanceFlex technology has been brought down to the GSX to give the boot the same sort of flex seen in the two other models. The GSX skates are a great option for entry level goalies or for those who are still growing and are light enough that they don’t need that ultra-stiff Pro boot.
Liner/Internal Padding
The Grip liner is seen in the GSX along with memory foam ankle padding which provides a comfortable fit while effectively locking your foot into place.
Tongue
A standard felt tongue keeps your feet free of lace-bite and locked down into the skate.
Holders & Steel
The GSX skates stick with the Vertexx edge holder and LS1G+ steel combo as seen on all of their recreation level goal skates in recent years.
Graphics
