CCM Tacks AS-V Junior Hockey Pants

New for 2022 from CCM is the new iteration in the Tacks line: the AS-V. The AS-V player hockey pants are equipped with many elite features, including D3O Lite material, premium 400D nylon, and a newly optimized Anatomical Shield Design. In line with CCM’s Tacks family, the AS-V aims to bring you elite coverage and range in motion to accommodate powerful skating strides.

External Materials
The exterior of the pads has been furnished with premium 400D nylon, as well as abrasion-resistant side panels, belt, and kidney protection. The nylon has been cut similar to how the pros would have it, at one inch in the back of the legs. CCM made note of general areas on hockey pants that tend to suffer the most wear and added extra nylon reinforcements as needed.

Thigh Protection
A floating molded HD foam cap and PE foam protect your thighs when blocking shots and during tough board battles. The strong foam and plastic offer both pro-level protection and mobility, ensuring you can play your best during the game.

Hip Protection
CCM incorporated JDP hip caps with their most renowned and high-performing material to date: D3O Lite material, into the pants’ hip protection. D3O is commonly used in CCM protective gear due to its amazing cushioning and absorption properties, as seen even in military equipment.

Spine Protection
The spine is secured with the use of exposed HD foam and D3O Lite, giving you max protection in the back while you play. With a seamless transition from the rest of the pants to the spine, the tail pad provides elite protection while keeping you comfortable.

Kidney Protection
Molded PE caps provide elite-level protection for the kidneys. The caps’ molded framework and sublimated comfort liner add some softness to the kidney area, effectively making them much more pleasant to play hockey in.

Belt/Lace Closure
The adjustable integrated belt is made of tough nylon and secures the pants on your person while you play. The pants additionally feature a stabilized belly pad for more coverage around the stomach area.

Leg Zippers
For growing players, CCM has included a one-inch zipper extension on the AS-V, which will add length to their gear in the future. In addition, the inner zipper has been optimized and repositioned to lessen friction on crossovers.
